SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:1): Ron Mash, the Somerset County Veterans Affairs Director, will be available to assist veterans on the last Friday of each month from noon to 4 p.m. at Windber American Legion Post 137 located at 312 14th Street in Windber, PA, 159632): We wish to thank the greater Windber community for supporting annual flag placements on Veterans' graves on 18 May, and for attending or participating in the Memorial Day parade and ceremony on 26 May. There is no set fee for participating, but donations are greatly appreciated and will benefit the VFW Post Auxiliary. Here are the details:
- Registration begins at 10 a.m.
- Kick Stands Up at Noon
- Visit the VFW Posts in Everett, Schellsburg and Central City
- Return to VFW Post 4795 for a free meal, cash bar and entertainment
