JANUARY 2025 ENTERTAINMENT EVENTS:
The band Boomers will perform on Saturday 25 January from 8 to 11 p.m.
Monthly Trivia Night is Wednesday 29 January from 6 to 8 p.m.
FEBRUARY 2025 ENTERTAINMENT EVENTS:
The 3rd annual "SouperBowl" (previously announced as a Chili Cookoff) will take place on Saturday 1 February from 1 to 3 p.m. Please bring your best soup as all proceeds benefit our VFW Post Auxiliary. For SouperBowl Contestants, please bring about 10 quarts of soup and pay an entry fee of $10. You will receive 1 ticket, 1 ballot, 1 punch card and chance at prizes. For Taste-Testers the fee is $15 and you will receive 1 ticket, 1 voting ballot and 1 punch card. Everyone will serve as soup samplers. Prizes, 50/50s and pull tabs will also be offered.
The annual Winter Ball will take place on Saturday 8 February from 6 to 10 p.m. More details will be announced later.
Singer Denise Baldwin will perform on Saturday 15 February from 8 to 11 p.m.
The Frick Brothers will perform in the bar on Friday 21 February from 8 to 11 p.m. The Frick Brothers are an acoustic duo.
DJ Heidi will entertain on Saturday 22 February from 8 p.m. to midnight.
WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA 2025 IN WINDBER
Our Post Auxiliary is assisting with the local "Wreaths Across America" program and we encourage everyone to purchase wreaths to place on veteran's graves in Windber before Christmas each year. More information is posted on our VFW Post bulletin boards or contact Lory Borischak at 814-659-5050. Here's the online internet link to easily purchase wreaths for 2025 to honor veterans buried in Windber cemeteries (NOTE: DO NOT purchase wreaths without ensuring you purchase the wreaths that support the VFW Post 4795 Auxiliary in Windber by using the link below!):
